Built on service, reliability and local understanding
Bolafi Farms commenced business on 2 October 2017 and was formally registered on 10 October 2017. What began as an agricultural business serving farmers in Ghana’s Northern Region has grown into a multidisciplinary company serving farmers, institutions, businesses and communities.
Today, our work spans building and civil construction, mechanised agricultural services, cereal supply, farm inputs, and rural water and sanitation infrastructure. Across these areas, our focus remains the same: dependable delivery and practical long-term value.

Our journey
From Bolafi Farms to a multidisciplinary company
Bolafi began as an agricultural business and subsequently expanded its registered activities to include construction and civil engineering services.

Business commencement
Bolafi Farms begins operations
Bolafi Farms commenced business in Tamale with activities focused on farming, the distribution of farm produce, and the sale of farm inputs and implements.

Formal registration
Registered as Bolafi Farms
The business was formally registered as Bolafi Farms under the Registration of Business Names Act, 1962 (Act 151), with mixed farming recorded as its primary industrial activity.

Expansion and rebrand
Bolafi Farms and Construction is established
With effect from 27 March 2018, the registered business activities were expanded to include building and road construction, civil engineering works, plumbing and electrical works. On 5 April 2018, the Registrar of Business Names approved the change from Bolafi Farms to Bolafi Farms and Construction.
